About Me

I am a graduate student in the Godwin Lab within the Department of Biological Sciences at NC State University and a member of the W.M. Keck Center for Behavioral Biology.  I am pursuing a doctoral degree in Zoology with a minor in Biotechnology and a concentration in Behavioral Biology.

I study a coral reef fish, the bluehead wrasse (Thalassoma bifasciatum), which can undergo socially-induced female-to-male sex change, in hopes of better understanding how the brain integrates social information and promotes reproductive changes.
